Questions to Ask Yourself

To be able to gain the most out of your life, there are some questions to ask yourself. Sometimes there’s a straight answer, sometimes the answers begins to create a bit of a web. The goal of this post is to help you really mill down to what you actually want, and you you truly want to feel in order to live the life you crave.

How do you want to FEEL in your life?

That is a pretty big question if you break it down! The usual answers are very practical.
“I want a nice house.”
“I want a nice car.”
“I want to travel.”
“I want to be in love/find a wonderful partner.”

What I hear with these answers is “I want to feel safe.”
“I want to feel abundant.”
“I want to feel loved.”
“I want to feel free.”

The Feeling of Safety

The feeling of safety that owning a house brings us. The feeling of safety that financial stability can bring.
That feeling of safety doesn’t have to lie in a house, it is knowing you have an income that can provide a roof over your head and your families. They say that home is where the heart is. However, if you know in your heart that you are capable and you trust yourself implicitly to be able to do this, then you will always find a feeling of safety within yourself.

The Feeling of Abundance

The feeling of abundance that owning a nice car brings us.
But abundance doesn’t stop at finances or nice cars.
Abundance is the feeling of wealth in all areas of your life. This stems from being grateful for all that you have. Finding appreciation in even the smallest things and noting them, feeling grateful for its presence in your day or life.
There is always a silver lining to be found in every situation, but the more you look for it, the more you will find it, and the more abundant you will feel. Which, in turn, attracts financial abundance.

The Feeling of Being Loved

The feeling of being loved and safe that having a loving partner brings us.
But to enter into the journey of loving yourself, and loving yourself as a whole, not reliant on the affection of another person. To be in a space of full acceptance of yourself and fall in love with the person that you are. That love will never leave you.
You may find it hard to access at times, but it doesn’t leave.

The Feeling of Freedom

And the feeling of freedom that the ability to travel brings us.
This one is a doozy. To feel free.
When we realise that we are all free and that the only thing holding us back in life, making us not feel free, is actually just our minds. Where there’s a will there’s a way. Always. And be completely honest with yourself!
Where are you putting up barriers or resistance or sabotaging yourself through fear?

I challenge you to write down how you want to FEEL in your life. I want to give you some questions to ask yourself.

Start with what you want and break it down.
Where do those desires come from?
What feeling would having/doing that thing bring you?
How can you create more of that feeling in your life?

I would love to know what you come up with, so please do get in touch and share!
