Our Best Eco Friendly Travel Tips For Your Next Adventure

Air travel, well, the transport industry in general is known for not being eco friendly in itself. Therefore, we wanted to look at ways that you could take matters into your own hands when travelling, and be more eco conscious. So, we came up with some of our best eco friendly travel tips.

Eco Friendly Travel Tips

Offset your Carbon Footprint

You can offset your carbon footprint at checkout with most airlines, nowadays. Sometimes you may have to search for the option.

Yes it will cost you perhaps an extra few $£s but that could go to a project that is focused on doing good for the environment. Ella actually recently did this and it cost less than £2! £2!!

Alternatively, you can take things further into your own hands and visit My Climate’s website.
This website helps you calculate your carbon footprint and donate to options that will offset it. Therefore, you can be more aware of what that money is going towards.

LUSH NAKED Shampoo and Conditioner Bars

Also their body bars and soaps!! They are firstly, super effective AND save you on weight as each bar contains at least 80 washes (for the shampoo and conditioners)!

However, most importantly there’s no plastic containers in sight.
As their products are made with natural ingredients, they are also biodegradable and non toxic to the environment.
Double win!

Fly with Your Own Water Bottle

We love a Hydroflask as it keeps hot drinks hot, and cold drinks cold. They come in ALL sorts of shapes and sizes and are also customisable.

Saying that, any reusable bottle is amazing and will do the trick.

So many airports now have water fill stations.

You can also get one large 5L bottle of water upon arrival at your destination if you are travelling somewhere that the drinking water isn’t safe. That way you can keep filling up both yours and your families reusable bottles to save continuously buying water bottles.

But better yet, ask your hotel if they have any filtered water you can fill up your bottle with!

If you have any more tips we would love to hear them & be able to share them!
